UK Student Visa Preparation Check

This is a self-check for planning, not an immigration eligibility decision. No answers are sent to us or saved.

1. Can you explain why this course and institution fit your previous studies or career plans?

Consider course level, progression and your genuine study objectives.

2. Have you checked the current tuition and living-cost requirements for your intended UK course?

Account for tuition already paid, location, dependants where applicable and other costs.

3. Can you provide acceptable financial evidence meeting the applicable UKVI requirements?

Check eligible accounts, evidence dates, any required holding period, and the permitted source of funds. Some applicants have different evidence requirements.

4. Have you checked the documents required for your circumstances?

These may include your passport, CAS, qualifications, English evidence and other documents depending on your circumstances.

5. Have you reviewed any previous visa refusals or immigration issues and how they must be disclosed?

If you have no previous refusals or issues, select Yes. Never omit a refusal where disclosure is required.

6. Have you confirmed the course start date and allowed time for admissions, CAS and visa processing?

Do not make non-refundable travel plans based on assumed approval dates.

Answer all six questions to see your preparation checklist.

PREPARE BEFORE YOU APPLY

Five areas worth checking

Financial evidence

Check current tuition and maintenance amounts, eligible funds, evidence requirements and any exceptions. Do not assume that simply having a bank balance is sufficient.

Course and progression

Choose a credible academic route that fits your background and plans. Foundation and integrated foundation courses have their own admissions and sponsorship requirements.

Documents and CAS

Check your passport, Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), qualifications and any applicable language, medical or other evidence requirements.

Previous refusals

Read previous decision letters carefully and disclose immigration history truthfully where required. A previous refusal does not automatically prevent a future application.

Timing and accuracy

Allow time for offers, deposits, CAS issuance and visa decisions. Check that all information is accurate and consistent before submitting.

Official guidance and next steps

Rules and evidence requirements change. Always consult the official UK Student visa guidance, including financial requirements and documents. Requirements vary by individual circumstances.

Global Right 2 Learn provides education and general preparation information, not a visa approval guarantee or individual immigration advice. For advice on your particular immigration circumstances, consult a suitably authorised UK immigration adviser.
